  • Twilight Review!!

SO i just am getting around to writing a movie review.

Overall I give it 3 1/2 starts. I think the movie was rushed.. the character development was ok for a book to movie interpretation.. I wanted more though... I guess you cant always get the same reaction from book to movie.. but i just didnt get the love story this time around. I understood they loved each other, but I didnt know why. In the book, the reader sees into Bella's character but in the movie I thought Bella didnt show an infatuation with Edward (except the hospital scene in the end)

The effects were off... i thought the Edward running with bella shot was very badly done.. u could see his legs were not touching the ground lol. Other than that, it was good though. the Baseball scene was one of my favorite parts. They actually did a great job with that scene.. the only wish I had was more of an explanation of Jason's need to hunt and to kill Bella.. the book did a better job.. the script glazed over it with a one-liner from bella "so now he's coming after me?" Edward - "he's never gonna stop.".. the movie didnt really explain why though.... why he loved hunting and tearing apart lovers.. (in the book we find out Alice was the girl in the past who was chased by Jason but ended up beaing turned into a vamp to save her...)

Other than that, I think the chemistry with Kristen and ROb was excellent. :)

  • YOu wanna piece of me...

Chuck Norris sold his soul to the devil for his rugged good looks and unparalleled martial arts ability. Shortly after the transaction was finalized, Chuck roundhouse-kicked the devil in the face and took his soul back. The devil, who appreciates irony, couldn't stay mad and admitted he should have seen it coming. They now play poker every second Wednesday of the month.

    I thought it was cute..

So i've been good. I just took out my first loan. UHHG.. lol. So yea.. that is gonna be great when finally decide to give me the money.

Next week is thanksgiving break! W0o0ooO I get a whole week off.. its gonna be snazzy and sweet and Im gonn eat great Itallian food.

Oh and the TWILIGHT MOVIE is coming out this friday.. needless to say that I am STOKED about it.

I hope they make the other books into movies... that would make my day.

  • Should men have a say when it comes to the issue of abortion? Why or why not?

I just answered this Featured Question; you can answer it too!

I think Men should have a say as well as the woman. It's half his child too, ya know.

It's easier to see it like this:

There's a television in my townhouse that belongs to me and my roommate. We both saved up and bought it together for our townhouse we got near our college. She takes it to her home for the summer because she has a huge truck while I only have a small convertable, so I can't carry it when i go back to my hometown for the summer. Just because she keeps it over the summer, should she have a right to sell it, or give it away without my permission?
No, it's both ours. We own exactly one half.

That's a really dumbed down version, and by no means does a child have the same value of a television, but I think the Importance of the argument lies in the fact that biologically, both parents should have equal say in the matter.

Breaking Dawn (The Twilight Saga, Book 4)

    Twilight Series - viewer rating.

I havnt updated in a while..

    Where to start..

Im packing right now.. getting things together for heading back up to college. Im excited about this year.. ill actually feel like i have a life.

I've been re-reading the Twilight series... omg those are crazy excellent books. I've already read the latest release - "Breaking Dawn", and loved it. Its sad though b/c the series is at an end. I am looking forward to "Midnight Sun".. which is basically the same as Twilight but from Edward's perspective, instead of Bella's perspective written in first-person format. The whole series is a dramatic love story that slowly builds stemming from the most unlikely match - a human and a vampire. Vampires are portrayed dramatically different from any other "vampire" novel i've read. In the Twilight series, vampires do night sleep in the day, they do night burn in the sunlight. They are pale, and hard as marble. Cold to the touch. Once they make the transition from human to vampire, they become more beautiful, but also remain the same age from when they were changed. They can heal any wound except from the venom of another vampire. They do not have fangs.. theirs are just like ours, except theirs can cut through any object very easily. And when they enter the sunlight.. they glitter like diamonds..so beautiful like something in a dream. Thats why they can only stay out in overcast weather or night. They dont risk being discovered. They also have that never-ending thirst, but can also chose to take the blood of animals - like the good-natured vampires in this series choose to do.

There are so many other interesting things the author adds to the characters... some vampires have extra tallents like mind reading, seeing the future, changing feelings, casting pain, extra strength, extra speed.... so there is also a variety in the vampire race. They are considered a separate species.. carrying 25 pairs of chromosomes... and the wolf shapeshifters carry 24... its interesting.. yet does not go into specifics about that category...

Its a very good series.. It definately engages the reader early on.. it doesnt take long to get hooked.

Well.. now that i've babbled enough.. im gonna go finish packing.
